The latest research in wellbeing science shows that people work most effectively and experience the highest levels of wellbeing and thriving when people are able to identify, develop and use their strengths, feel connected to others and find their work meaningful.
We might assume that thriving would only happen in good times. However, studies have consistently demonstrated that it's possible to thrive despite the struggle. Sustaining our levels of wellbeing is less dependent on the situation and more dependent on our abilities to effectively navigate both the good times and successes and the struggles and challenges that occur.
Our Workshops enable participants to explore techniques and strategies to optimise wellbeing in their work and personal life, increasing operational effectiveness. Whether you are looking for wellbeing strategies at the me, we or us level, leadership tools, greater teamwork, the ability to navigate the messiness of change, heightened emotional intelligence or greater confidence, we've got you covered.
Due to the ever-changing nature of the world we live in and changes to how we work, interact and live our lives, developing awareness around how we deal with stress and being proactive around our self-care and wellbeing is more important than ever. When stress levels become high, if we are not looking after ourselves, we are more likely to react and act in ways that don’t serve us.
Through our workshop, we aim to create a space to educate and inspire people to prioritise and care for their mental health and well-being. We do this by building participants' knowledge around stress and introducing tools and resources to bring calm, nourish the mind, build resilience and optimise mental health and wellbeing. This, in turn, builds a more resilient workforce and organisation.
Participants will:
A happy and healthy workplace is critical to the success of your organisation. Research shows that several factors within an organisation can positively and negatively contribute to the wellbeing of the workforce. Everyone can play a role in helping to create wellbeing across an organisation by understanding these factors and identifying relevant strategies that enhance mental health and wellbeing across individuals, teams and the organisation as whole. This can lead to better employee engagement, reduced absence due to illness, and increased performance and productivity.
This workshop will build your capacity and help you to identify wellbeing priorities for yourself, your teams and across your organisation and give you the tools to start to integrate and embed them into the practice and culture of the organisation.
What you’ll learn:
Understanding and harnessing human emotions is critical to a number of success factors in life. Emotional intelligence or EI is the ability to understand and manage your own emotions and those around you. People with a high degree of emotional intelligence know what they're feeling, what their emotions mean, and how these emotions can affect other people. Emotional intelligence underlies our self-awareness, empathy, leadership and resilience.
This workshop will introduce you to the different factors needed to improve your emotional intelligence. It will help you understand your own emotions and those of others to build stronger relationships, mange stress, and to be guided by your core values rather then your emotional reaction to situations.
By the end of the workshop, you will:
